Mr. Muhammed Farhad Hussain FCA, Member Council and immediate Past President of ICAB has been elected Member in the Executive Committee(Excom) of Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants(CAPA)for 2008-2011 by the Assembly of Delegates in its meeting held on 04 October 2007 in Osaka, Japan. Mr. Farhad is the first ICAB representative elected to the CAPA Executive Committee since CAPA was founded in 1957.

CAPA represnts national accountancy organizations in the Asia and Pacific region and at present has 34 accountancy organizations in 24 jurisdiction. CAPA is the largest regional accountancy organizations and its geographical area spars over half the globe.
