Nasrat Hasan, Asstt. Secretary, Mr. Juris Reinhards, Project Head, ICAEW-ICAB Twinning Project participated as observer.

Mr. M Humayun Kabir FCA presented a paper on 'IFAC SMOs Compliance Program' at the SAFA Assembly Meeting on 08 May 2008.

Mr. M Farhad Hussain FCA and Mr. Juris Reinhards jointly presented a paper on ICAEW-ICAB Twinning Project at CAPA Board Meeting on 09 May 2008. Mr. Md. Nasrat Hasan, Asstt. Secretary participated 2nd Nodal Officers' Meeting at afternoon on 08 May 2008.

On this occasion ICA Nepal organized a colorful and successful CAPA-ICAN Joint Conference on 10 May 2008 on 'Integrating Nepalese Profession with the outside World'. A number of Technical papers were presented in the Conference including by Dr. Zubaidur Rahman on 'Challenges faces in the accountancy profession in emerging and transitional economies', by Mr. Brian Blood on 'Opportunities and Challenges faced in IFRS Convergence and by Mr. Charles Calhoun on 'International Education Standards'.
