An ICAB delegation headed by Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir FCA, President ICAB attended a ceremony on the occasion of completion of UK based IFRS/IAS training Course, an important element of the ICAEW-World Bank-Bangladesh Programme held at Chartered Accountant Hall, Moorgate Place, London on Monday, September 01, 2008. Mr. Md. Syful lslam FCA, Vice President ICAB accompanied the ICAB President.

Apart from attending the completion ceremony of the Training course on IFRS/IAS, the ICAB delegation also met with Mr. David Furst, ICAEW President, Mr. Michael Izza, CEO and Mr. Vernon Soare, ICAEW Executive Director and discussed professional matters of mutual interest, particularly, about the the ways of strengthening the relationship between ICAB and ICAEW and explore the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual recognition of membership of the Chartered Accountants qualifying from the ICAB and ICAEW.
