The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh(ICAB) organized a CPE Seminar on "International Financial Reporting Standard-4: Insurance Contracts" on Tuesday, 28 October 2008 at 5.30 p.m. at ICAB Auditorum, Chartered Accountant Bhaban, 100 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Kawran Bazar, Dhaka-1215.

Mr. Feroz Ahmed, Secretary. Ministry of Commerce, GoB was as Chief Guest. Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, President, International Chamber of Commerce(ICC)-Bangladesh and Chairman & CEO, Eastern Trading Bangladesh Ltd. was the Special Guest. Mr. A K M Rafiqul Islam FCA, Past President-ICAB and Managing Director & CEO, Pragati Insurance Ltd. conducted the Seminar as Session Chairman. Mr. Shahadat Hossain FCA, Member Council-ICAb presented the Keynote paper on the topic.
