ICAB President Dewan Nurul Islam FCA signed a Membership Pathways Agreement (MPA) with CPA Australia, one of the world’s largest accounting bodies working in 125 countries and regions around the world. Earlier, President of CPA Australia, Peter Wilson signed the same agreement. During the World Congress of Accountants, a separate signing ceremony was also organized in Sydney in November.
CPA Australia has a Member Pathway Agreement (MPA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
The following steps demonstrate the pathway to Associate CPA membership for full members of (ICAB) under the conditions of the current mutual pathway agreement (MPA).

Complete CPA Australia online application and submit the required documentation, including your application and membership fee. In your application, nominate the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) as the professional body with whom you studied and hold membership.
Step 3: Verification and outcome of your application
Your application will take approximately 10 to 15 working days to verify. CPA Australia will send you an email advising you of your assessment outcome.
Step 4: Advance to CPA status
Once you become an Associate member of CPA Australia you must successfully complete the following four subjects of the CPA Program:
When complete, you will advance to CPA status, receive a CPA certificate, and will then be able to use the letters CPA after your name.
